Principles and Code of Conduct
The Principles and Code of Conduct are part of the terms and conditions of the employment relationship. They are binding on all Northern Territory Public Sector employees and must be observed by all, including CEO's and the Commissioner for Public Employment.
Public Sector Employment and Management Act, Regulations, By-laws, Employment Instructions, Determination and Instruments
Employment in the Northern Territory Public Sector is governed by the Public Sector Employment and Management Act. Under this Act, the Commissioner for Public Employment is deemed to be the employer of all public sector employees and sets the terms and conditions of employment for all employees. Terms and conditions are contained in the various By-laws, Employment Instructions and Determinations which the Commissioner may issue under the Act.
