Young Territorians

Young Territorians are those aged between 15 and 25, which makes them a valuable part of the workforce.

The Northern Territory Government is working to improve young Territorians’ personal wellbeing, promote their positive achievements and help them reach their goals.

This is reflected in our values of respect, diversity, access, empowerment, equity and co-ordination.

The Northern Territory Government’s priorities are to:

  • improve young people's health and well being
  • improve access to education and employment for young people
  • provide more opportunities for young people to develop new skills
  • make sure young people are able to participate in decisions that affect their lives.
