The awards below are pre-reform federal awards. As from 27 March 2006, provisions within the award relating to basic rates of pay and casual loadings; maximum ordinary hours of work; annual leave; personal leave; and parental leave cease to have effect as part of the award. Such provisions now make-up the Australian Fair Pay and Conditions Standard.
Unless you are covered by a Workplace Agreement certified by the Australian Industrial Relations Commission or 'called up' when lodged with the Office of the Employment Advocate the award will not apply to your employment with the NTPS. You should check the Workplace Agreement applying to you to ensure the award has relevance to your employment arrangements.
