Workplace Bullying Consultation
Consultation with employees will help agencies to:
- determine the best way of communicating the prevention message;and
- successfully implement prevention measures.
There are a number of ways in which agencies can consult in the workplace including direct discussion, staff meetings, health and safety committee meetings and special working groups.
Consultation should include the development of:
- strategies for raising awareness;
- a‘no bullying’ policy;
- procedures for reporting incidents; and
- bullying resolution procedures.
