NTPS agencies can access the Remote Workforce Development Strategy Grant Program to deliver professional development projects and initiatives for remote employees.

Agencies can apply for grants to:

• work with another agency or agencies to deliver professional development programs for remote employees (maximum $40,000)
• deliver professional development programs - that are outside the scope of core agency business - for remote employees (maximum $20,000).

The grant program has a two stage application process.  Stage 1 involves submitting a project concept and approximate budget.  Stage 1 applications are assessed, with successful applicants invited to submit a Stage 2 application.  Stage 2 applications involve addressing selection criteria and providing full budget details.

2008/2009 Stage 1 application close off is 8 August 2008
