Executive Development

In response to the imminent skilled labour shortages in western demographics, particularly in leadership positions, OCPE has recently undertaken an in-depth review of executive development options, The result is the provision of a suite of tailored development interventions designed to meet individual needs,

The Executive Development Options in the NTPS are designed to play a key role ion supporting executives who have leadership roles across the Sector, and particularly those who have responsibility for programs or projects in their agency.

The purpose of the development interventions is to support the achievement of government by strengthening executive leadership capabilities across the Sector.

The options will provide a range of high quality leadership development programs, interventions and event s that are sufficiently flexible to meet the range of diverse needs, and that are relevant to the issues being faced by executives.

Some valuable project work has been undertaken by executives, managers and other leaders through formal development programs. Several Executive Development Program (EDP) group 'Challenge Projects’ have been completed.
