The information generated from workforce planning by the manager allows for evidence-based decisions to be made about having the right people, in the right place at the right time for the right cost.

A Northern Territory Public Sector (NTPS) workforce planning framework and methodology has been endorsed by Co-ordination Committee.

The "Making Workforce Planning Work in the NT Public Sector" workforce planning framework and methodology is a practical approach to be used by managers in agencies.
